You can do a “Walk-in” hire if we have craft available but you are probably better to book prior to arrival by calling our beach team, emailing or messaging us on facebook.

If you only want to have a quick splash and dash then our 1 hour hire option may suit you. If you want to go on a journey around Budleigh Bay then the 3 hour deal option may suit. If you want to use the boards/boats as and when whilst spending the day on the beach then choose the 6 hour option.
We also offer coaching sessions at all levels of ability... prices on enquiry.

Booking Conditions… in summary.
To fully confirm your booking we require payment in full prior to going out on the water.
Children (Under 18) must be supervised/accompanied from the beach by an adult (18+) at all times whilst on the water.
The minimum age for participation is 4 years old when using individual Sit-on Top Kayak or SUP board and those children must be fully supervised by the adult in/on the same craft.
The minimum age for paddling a Sit-on top Kayak or SUP board as an individual is 8 years old and they must be supervised by an adult/s in the same group. Max ratio is 1x adult to 2 children. Young children using craft is always dependant on the weather situation and is at the discretion of the beach team from Budleigh Paddle Sports. Budleigh Paddle Sports have the right to refuse hire if they deem the weather or sea condition to be unsafe or inappropriate.
The supplied buoyancy aid(s) must be worn at all times when you or any of your party is on the water.
The hirer confirms that he/she can competently swim a minimum of 25 metres unaided and that he/she will wear a personal floatation device (PFD) at all times. These will be supplied for all participants from the start of the session.
Do not paddle further than 200m offshore. Do not paddle on waves where the surf is over 2ft high. Please stay within the Budleigh Paddle Sports safe working area as instructed by BPS team members.
If you make a prior booking of two people or more but need to cancel your reservation we require 12hrs notice. If you notify us with less than 12hrs notice prior to your booking time we will not be able to refund your payment.
